| Evening Prayer Have you ever lain a-bed at night and thought of the day just past ? Wished you had been a little more kind had not spoken in anger so fast ? Have you ever remembered the many things you somehow neglected to do ? Or some of the words that others have said and how they affected you ? Do you blush at the stupid remarks you made not meaning to say them at all ? And wondered how you could be so dumb as to think that you never would 'fall' ? How comforting then, at end of day to kneel by the bed to pray asking our heavenly Father above to forgive what we've done today ! G. Dodd � |
