The summer ride through Sherburne is over at this point. It ended at US 190, 17 miles up river from this point. I continued in search of "the light".  The search would put the light on more than "the light".  There will be a link form here to there when I get finished putting there here. Until then, you are free to wander and wonder.
  Continue Winter Ride Home:
This is looking back toward  Baton Rouge. I was waiting until the sun was down because I would have to drive directly into it. Plus, I was summoning my composure. I am a back roads rider, not an Interstate Cruiser. I hate semi trucks. I hate bozoos who have to travel 90 mph, and whip in and out of lanes. This was another reason I waited for the sun to set. I didn't want Claribell not to see me because he was blinded by the sun.  I had 8 miles to go and I wanted it over.  I had to deal with it.
