Are you a Dube Descendant?

I am a descendant of JOSEPH DUBEE, born in Qubec (1857), who married MARGARET WHITE HARRISON of Rutland, VT. They had around 23 children, some of whom did not survive past childhood, and some of whom were born as sets of twins or triplets. The Dubes settled around Glens Falls, New York and parts of Vermont (Rutland?)

The Dube information I have is best viewed at Family Tree Maker's Site.

As I go through, I am trying to correct any inaccuracies I find in the transcription... I still do not have birthplace for Joseph or info on his parents/siblings.

Some more specific info re: Joseph and Margaret Dube:

Joseph b. Feb 1857, d. unknown
Margaret b. Sep 1869 Rutland VT, d. Apr 07, 1943 Glens Falls, NY

Parents/Siblings of either Joseph or Margaret are unknown. It would stand to reason that Joseph's parents' marriage date may be in the 1850s, birth dates in the 1830s, in "Someplace" Qubec.

Margaret was said to be full-blooded Mohawk, if I am correct. That should provide some source of lookup.

Their children were:

My direct ancestor was Francois (Frank) Dube, who married Helen Mary Lamoureux on November 17, 1911 in Troy, NY. They had four daughters, each born in Glens Falls, NY:

My mother is Frances Dube's daughter.

With all the other sibs of Frank, I know there are cousins by the dozens -- I would love to know who/where they are today.

If this links to anyone's research, I'd be glad to correspond!
