| Like several of my art projects, this piece started out it's life in one form only to be changed and utilized for a different project. This was originally done for Figure Drawing class. This was the most difficult art class I had ever attempted. At the time I was very proud of my effort, but college art shows at that time didn't allow works that displayed frontal nudity. So She was banished to my basement for storage and the paper was damaged by moisture. By the time the nudity clause was lifted from student art shows I was no longer eligible to enter the piece in said shows. So while watching my youngest daughter, Molly, playing with her puzzles that were always missing pieces, I was inspired to create the finished piece, on the right, entitled "Missing Pieces". I laminated the drawing to plywood and designed and cut out large puzzle pieces, which were glued to another piece of plywood. "Missing Pieces" was on display for several years in the college's registration office. |

| I made this for our dogs one winter. Bales of straw stacked to form what I called the Dog Igloo. Now I fondly remember it as "frosted Mini-wheats". | |||||||||||||||||||
