| This agent is a commercially produced blood agent. At room temperature it is colorless vapor and smells like bitter almonds. It has been rumored that Iraq used this against Iran and the Kurds during the 1980's. It is highly toxic and kills quickly. With proper training from places such as DRDC Suffield, police or military officers can safely contain and destroy the substance if it is used in a hostile way. | |
