The campfire area is where a lot of the campers and counselors end up in the evening free time. Usually a crowd of people gather here to watch the sunset in the evening and also to enjoy the warmth of the fire as well as get a chance to hangout with friends before heading off to bed. 
Usually one night out of the week we cook marshmellows and make smores as well as have a dance that usually takes place between the campfire and rec hall.
