Many of the campers as well as counselors enjoy boating on the pond. We don't boat on the lake, which in many cases is good for the first time boaters. (Less chance you'll float off :) But it is still a lot of fun. Getting several boaters out on the pond makes for a fun race, as well as boating on the edge of the water and watching for jumping frogs into the water below. The pond is open only during designated times when a trained lifeguard is on duty.
