At the inception of Kappa Psi Kappa Fraternity, Incorporated on  August 17th, 2001, in Tallahassee, FL,  five founders envisioned an organization of gay and bisexual men pledged to serious endeavors and community service.  These youthful men demonstrated a vital concern for social welfare, academic excellence, and cultural enrichment, and de-emphasized the social side of the Diversity of life. With membership growing and over 26 chapters, Kappa Psi Kappa has not only spread nationwide, but also worldwide with its newest chapter in Honolulu, HI.
