What is 4-H?
4-H is the largest youth serving organization in the world. It started in rural America and spread to major urban centers, suburban areas and rural farm areas. More than 80 countries worldwide are involved in 4-H. It is a project designed for both boys and girls with many different projects such as large and small animals, horticulture, foods, clothing, etc. Even though 4-H members must be between 10-21 years of age, older family members can get involved as 4-H leaders or help their children/siblings with projects. 4-H is educational and a great learning resource for youth.
