Verbs
*Action Verb - tells what the subject of the sentence does

*Linking Verb - links the subject of the sentence with the rest
   of the sentence, they are:
   am, is, are, was, were, be, being, been,
   look, appear, seem, become, feel, sound, taste, grow, smell

*Verb Phrases - A group of words made up of a helpin verb
   plus a main verb, the helping verbs are:
   am, is, are, was, were, be, being, been,
   has, have, had, do, does, did, may, might, must,
   would, will, could, can, should, shall
Verb Tenses
*Tense = the time where the action takes place

*Regular tenses:
Present tense - The action is happening now or
  ongoing
       ex.     She
walks            She is happy                  She does something
Past tense - The action has already happened
       ex.     She
walked          She was happy              She did something
Future tense - The action will happen (uses "will"
  or shall")
       ex.    She
will walk        She will be happy          She will do something

*Perfect tenses:
Present perfect - uses have or has plus a main verb
       ex.    She
has walked         They have walked
Past Perfect - uses had plus a main verb
       ex.      She
had walked        They had walked
Future Perfect - uses will have or shall have plus a   main verb
       ex.     She
will have walked    They shall
      have walked
