My Random Writings: 8/5 (PS- Rush Hour II Was Not Bad!:)
Carrying on from my last writing a few days ago... let's see.... I think that not every philosohy can be 100% pure right, I mean... things may be all impermanent and just worldly objects... but they can also be a favorite mug, a catcher's mit, a signed baseball or basketball which gives it meaning, your house, pple you know... your car... so I think they are just more "stuff" but at the same time "stuff" with meaning and gives drive to our life... both are right... just emotions.. just things that stir up from the contact with our five senses conjuring sensations in our mind. BUT also love, hate, desire, dreams, inspiration, stuff like that... or that in reality there is no "self" just existing streaming of consciousness... BUT, maybe our sense of self and being used to self creates our perception of self, and that we're used to and within that we create a culture, it may be metaphysically deluded or blind, but to us it does exist, to relatively both are right! So what's going on? Are we in paradise, are in a temporary state, are we part of the Matrix? Our souls needed to be free from this terrible harmful world, or do we just need to go with the flow on Earth like Taoists say? And not be harmed there or do we follow strict order , honor , and respect like Confucians? Buddhists have as an ultimate goal to leave this frivolous worldly existence and attain Nirvana or ultimate liberation and freedom.. so what gives? Christians want to find God and the King of God. After my reading of The Thorn Birds by Colleen Mc Cough.. I feel that there is really much struggle in the human soul.. I mean .. it is very hard to "perfect" the human soul because we are so prone and pulled by so many forces. So is it natural? Shall we even try? What gives? Well, until next time. Have a nice day. :) ~Ching 1
