I feel there is a split between predestined Fate... an already fixed plan and .. free will.. our choice to do wahtever we want at the moment...
I believe that Fate sort of has a framework for us... special people we'll meet in key moments of our life, our impotannt life decisions, great things
we're meant to accomplish, a way and lifestyle that we can be happy with, and stuff like that.. while as our free choice we can do what we will
within that framework of life.. if we tune into what we're meant to do, time sort of stops and we feel one with things, and content and joyful, and
if we do the wrong thing, we feel the opposite, also we can at any time harm ourselves, even kill ourselves as it is our free will, and we can
also prevent disasters, choose or not to do things, but some things are simply planned.. so it's good to have a good balance.
Another debate I've had with myself is whether all things if they have a Reason for happening or do they happen randomly or by our own
personal mistake. Perhaps they happen for both.. such as to teach us happiness... to teach us humility... or what way to go or what path to go
or who to see.. and other times it may be that we weren't mindful enough nor careful enough.. that we weren't being considerate.. of course you
can always say that's Hindsight Bias.. that you see things more clearly after the event rather than during, but from Buddhism I've found that
you can always be mindful of the present moment and do things as they appear best at the moment rather than being careless or daydreaming of something soemtime
else. Well well.. I mean, some lessons have been so difficult that I can only imagine that they can't specifically have this holistic Reason behind
it b/c it was so painful. So I think it was my own personal mistake rather than a Life Lesson.. but you can always argue that my mindfulness
was the Reason why I went thru all the pain. I'd like to argue that there's Reason and there's person flaws you have to work with.. or you can argue
the other way around. I hope I'm not arguing in a circle, so with that .. I'll head out now.. thanks! :)~Ching... or it could just b/c I was not open
to the lessons.. who knows.. maybe there is underlying Order to how the universe works. OKay bye! :)
