~ Laloba ~

For every woman who has ever been bound by "shoulds" no matter the origin, whether it be environment or within herself, there is an animal that this restless woman can often relate to, and that is the wolf, laloba.

I am a philosopher. Some who know me think I analyze too much. I am interested in God, theology, philosophy, nature, science, and much, much more. Thanks to the loving deeds of my sister, I can release some creative energy through this outlet and perhaps share with those with similar ideas.

Wolves have been my touchstone since my mother passed away, and in human language, it's next to impossible to describe what it is they do for me. Their beauty, their aloofness yet loyalty to others in their pack, their strength, their fierceness coupled with gentleness - these are the things I admire. There is an intelligence in the wolf that cannot go unnoticed. There is a connection I feel with God each time I hear the howl of the wolf, and thus the creation of Laloba's Den.

Thank you, Debbie, for the creation of this site. You're the best sister anyone could have.

I love you

Lisa
