Everyone on the project makes a center square measuring 12"-18". Then you pass it onto the next person in your group, they add a round, then pass it along...etc. Here's the round rules.

Round 1: Triangles - Add a 2" to 4" border including some triangles.

Round 2: Squares and Rectangles - add a 2" - 4" border including some squares and rectangles. How many and how they are applied is up to you.

Round 3: The Hosed Round - add a 3" to 6" border with a hosed theme. What to use and how much is between you and the quilt. This could be a very creative round.

Round 4: Friendship Round - Add a 3" to 6" border including some element that reflects the center block maker's personality, tastes, lifestyle and/or interests.

Round 5: Anything Goes Border - By this time the quilt has grown and come into its own and you can add a border that you feel will finish the quilt top. You might want to repeat something from the previous rounds or not.

Last round, the quilt was sent to someone in another group. Upon completion, the quilt is sent to the person who made the center.
