VADAICURRY:
Bengal gram= 1/2 cup (soak it for 1 hr).
Green Chillies= 2
Ginger= 1 small piece
For the gravy:
Tomato= 1
Onion= 3/4cup
Green Chilly= 2
Red chilly powder= 1/2tsp
turmeric powder= 1/4tsp
Ginger= 1 small piece
Garlic= 4 flakes
Anise= 1/4tsp
Cinnamon= 1 small stick
Cloves= 2
Add salt and grind the gram, chilly and ginger coarsely.
Then make small size balls .
In a pan add oil and fry it (Do not fry till brown) and keep aside.
Grind the ginger, garlic, anise, cinnamon and cloves
and form a paste. In a pan add 3 tbsp of oil, add the paste,
chopped onion , tomato and chilly. Fry it well and then add
chilly powder, turmeric powder, and salt and then add 2 cups
of water and allow it to boil for 7 minutes
Add the fried balls into that gravy.
Finally add some mint leaves.
Serve it with hot Idlis or Dosai.
