Rice=4cups
Urud dal=1cup
Fenugreek seeds=1tsp
A Handful Of CookedRice
Salt to taste
Wash rice, uruddal and fenugreek seeds and soak them in water
for about 5-6 hours. Grind urud dal to fine paste till slightly frothy.
Add cooked rice to the rawrice and grind into a smooth paste
with the required amount of water. Add salt and mix both the
pastes by hand. Cover and keep aside for at least 10 hours to
ferment. Then mix the batter thoroughly. Heat the tawa and
and spread a tsp of oil over it. Take a laddle full of batter
and spread on a tawa to a thick layer. When it is cooked on one side
turn over and add a tsp of oil all over its edge and
remove when fully cooked.
Serve it with chutney.
