TOMATORICE(I):

Rice=1cup
Onion=1/4cup
Tomato=2
RedChilliPowder=1tsp
Turmeric powder=1/4tsp
Salt= as per taste
Oil=3tsp
Mustard seeds=3/4tsp
Curry leaves=few

Grind the tomatoes in a mixer.Add oil in a heated pan and add mustard seeds. When it splutters, add onion and fry for a minute. Add the tomoto puree and fry it well. Then add turmeric powder, chillipowder and salt and stir well. Add little amount of water and close the pan with the lid and allow it to boil for 5min. Then stir the mixture well. To this mixture, add the cooked rice and stir it well.Serve it with appalam or masalvadai.
