SUNDAL:
Chick Peas=1cup
Grated Coconut=3tbsp
Mustard Seeds= 1/2 tsp
Urad Dhal= 1/2 tsp
Red Chilly=2
Curry Leaves=few
Asafoetida= a pinch
Oil=1 tsp
Salt to taste
Soak the chickpeas overnight.
Wash and clean the soaked chickpeas
and cook it with salt and asafoetida in a pressure cooker. Decant the water and let stand
for a few minutes. Heat up the oil and fry the mustard seeds,
urad dhal, asafoetida, chilly and curry leaves.
Add the cooked chickpeas and stir well.
Now add the coconut and stir for a few minutes.
