SEMIYA UPPUMA:

Semiya(Vermicelli)=2cup
Onion=1/2cup
Green chillies=4
Tomato=1/4cup
Urud dal=1/2tsp
Mustard seeds=1/4tsp
Water=3cup
Channa dal=1/2tsp
Oil=4tsp
Curry leaves=few
Salt to taste

Heat oil in a pan add urud dal, channa dal and fry till golden brown. Then add mustard seeds. When it splutters, add curry leaves, chillies and finely chopped onions and tomatoes.Fry for a minute and add water and salt and heat it up. Once it boils, add semiya and cook on low heat. Stir occasionally and cook until it becomes soft and dry. Serve it with coconut chutney.
