RIBBON MURUKKU:
Besan=2cups
Rice flour=1/2cup
Butter=25g
Asafoetida= a pinch
Sesame seeds=1/4tsp
Chilli powder=1tsp
Salt to taste
Mix all the ingredients and add the required amount of water
and make a thick dough.Place a dough in the murukku presser
using a mould with one or two slots(ribbon murukku achu)
Press the dough through the mould over the hot oil and
fry it until light brown in color.
