RAVA DOSAI:
Rava=1cup
Rice flour=1/2cup
All purpose flour=1/2cup
Green chilly=4
Cumin seeds=1tsp
Sour buttermilk=1/4cup
Water=3cups
Chopped onion=1cup
Curry leaves=few
Salt to taste
Mix the 3 flours, buttermilk and salt with water.
In a heated pan add 2tsp of oil and add cuminseeds,
onion and curryleaves and fry for a minute and add
it to the batter. Keep it aside for half an hour.
On hot tawa pour one laddle of the batter and spread it
and add about 1 tsp of oil all around the dosai.
As it starts to turn golden brown in color, use a
spatula and gently remove the edges of the dosai and
toss it over to let the other side cook. Add a little
more oil around the edges. Let it remain for a minute
and then remove from the tawa and serve hot with coconut
chutney.
