PAKODA KURMA:

Bengal gram=1/2cup
Onion(finely chopped)=11/4cup
Tomato=1
Gingergarlicpaste=2tsp
Red chilli powder=1tsp
Turmeric powder=1/2tsp
Curry leaves=few
Coconut=3/4 cup
Anise seeds=3/4tsp
Green chilly=2 Mustard seeds=1/4tsp
Salt to taste
Chopped Mintleaves=3tsp
Oil for frying

Grind the bengalgram and anise seeds very coarsely. Mix onion and chilli with this mixture and fry this pakoda till golden brown. Also, grind the coconut, aniseseeds and chilli into a fine paste. Chop the tomatoes finely. In a heated pan add oil and add mustard seeds. When it splutters add gingergarlicpaste, onion, tomato, curry and mintleaves and fry it well. Then add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coconut mixture, salt and a cup of water and boil it for few minutes. Add the fried pakoda and boil it for a minute.
