KICHADI:
Semolina(rawa)=11/2cup
Beans=6
Carrot=1
Peas=2tbs
Green chillies=4
Onion=1/2cup
Tomato=1
Ginger(chopped)=1/2tsp
Turmeric powder=1/4tsp
Cinnamon stick=1(small)
Cloves=3
Oil=4tsp
Water=3cups
Salt to taste
Cut the vegetables into small pieces.
Heat up a pan and slightly fry the rawa without
adding any oil. Remove and keep aside.
Heat up the oil in a frying pan and add cinnamon stick and
cloves and fry for a seconds and then chillies, ginger,
finely chopped onions and tomatoes and vegetables and fry for a minute.
Then add salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Add 3 cups of water
anad allow it to boil.
When the water boils add rawa and mix well.Close it with a lid
and stir occasionally. Serve it with coconut chutney.
