AVIYAL:
WhitePumpkin=1/4kg
Plantain(Vazhakkai)=1
Carrot=1
Beans=8
Chepangkizhangu(YAM)=2
Coconut=1/2cup
Curd=11/2cup
Cumin seeds=3/4tsp
Mustard seeds=1/2tsp
Greenchilly=4
Curry leaves=few
Turmeric powder=1/2tsp
Coconutoil=2tsp
Salt to taste
Grind the coconut, cuminseeds and greenchillies into a fine paste.
Cut all the vegetables into long pieces, add salt, turmericpowder and
cook it in a pan.(see it is not overcooked)
Add the grinded paste and boil it for few minutes.
Then add curd and heat it for few minutes.
In a heated pan add oil and mustard seeds.
When it splutters add curryleaves and pour this to the aviyal.
