RICE UPPUMA:

Rice=1cup
Black pepper=10
Toor dal=1tsp
Cumin seeds=1tsp
Red chilly=1
Channa dal=1tsp
Urud dal=1tsp
Asafoetida=a pinch
Mustard seeds=1/4tsp
Curry leaves=few
Oil=3tsp

Grind the rice, cuminseeds, pepper and dal in a blender. Grind them into coarse pieces. In a heated pan add oil and then add channa dal, urud dal and fry for a minute. Then add chilly and mustard seeds, when mustard pops add curry leaves. Add 3cups of water, (For 1cup of RiceRawa add 3cups of water) asafoetida and salt and allow it to boil. Once it boils, add ricerawa and stir well and allow it to cook. Serve it with coconut chutney.
