Chapter 2

~1 month later~

I was going to be adopted, I, a fucking 15 year old, and a newly weds are going to fucking adopt me. I dont want to get adopted, I dont want to even live! I want to be where my family is, not some place that I dont know anybody! Its not fair, why did God take my family and not me? Right about now, I hate everybody, even God! He took everybody I love away from me! How could he do that? I cant see anything, its getting on my nerves. I think now its 1:00 oclock in the afternoon, I have to meet up with my new parents. Im never going to call them mom and dad. Nobody can replace my parents, I love them. I miss them so much. Its getting harder each day. I dont have my dad to tell me if I can date this guy or I cant, or what happened to my eye, why Im wearing make up. I dont have my mom to tell me its okay that this one guy doesnt like me, or that she wants to take me shopping for my first day of high school. I dont have my sister and brother to pick on me. Make me get in trouble even though I didnt do anything.

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on my door, I didnt feel like talking to anybody, but I had to. I had to, because theyre going to be my parents from no on.

Come in I said, against my will.

The door opened and some people came in.

Hi, my name is Leighanne, Her voice was so soft, and familiar, And my husbands name is Brian. Were going to adopt you.

Hi, Im Brian, The guy said.

His voice was so familiar yet so far too, I wished I could see, so I wouldve known what they looked like. This not seeing stuff is really getting on my nerves! Every single morning, when I open my eyes, I except to see the sun, but all I see is black. My arms getting better. Well its much better than before.

I dont think I ever cried this past month. Well except that day when they told me about my family. I never talked to anybody either. They come in, they talk to me, they wait for an answer, they get nothing and they leave. That was an everyday routine.

"I know it's not easy for you, but maybe we can help you cheer up a little bit." Brian said.

I don't think anything can cheer me up, except the Backstreet Boys. Yeah, you're wondering why on earth the Backstreet Boys will cheer me up. Well, when I was little, about 6 or 7, the Backstreet Boys was just starting to get bigger and bigger. They were always my favorite. This past month, Backstreet Boys's CD, The Millennium, helped me a lot, specially, the song that Brian Littrell wrote, "The perfect Fan." He wrote this song to his mom. Every time I miss my parents, I always listen to this song. And it really helps me a lot.

"A month ago, when me and Brian were sitting on the couch watching news, we saw that there's one girl who loves the Backstreet Boys was taken away from her family. We decided to adopt you, even though you're a teenager." Leighanne told me.

Brian continued, "And we heard that you weren't talking to anybody. You know that's not healthy! Your nurse told us that you only listen to the Millennium tape over and over again."

"What's this got to do with anything" I asked, I finally talked, I couldn't believe it. I wasnt planning on talking to anybody! My throat was dry, probably because I haven't talked in a month.

"Well, I'm a Backstreet Boy" Brian said, "And I want to adopt you, and I want you to come to tour with me."

I was shocked, well I was more than shocked. I couldn't believe my ears. Brian Thomas Littrell and Leighanne Littrell wanted to adopt me. But then I remembered that I couldn't see anything, so I didn't believe them.

"Is this a joke?" I asked, after a few minutes of silence.

"No honey, it's not a joke. I know you don't believe me now, but you will later" Leighanne said, "But now, you have to come with us."

I let them lead me to the bus. When Black & Blue came out, they each had their own bus, but what Brian told, they were sharing the bus, so that mean over 10 people will be on this tour bus. Brian and Leigh introduced me to everybody, I didnt say anything to anybody. Everybody was nice to me, well, except Nick. I mean hes not mean, but hes not nice either.
