*Brian�s P.O.V.*
After I cried on Nick�s shoulder for about ten minutes, I pushed away and looked at him.
�You forgive me right?� I asked softly, I was desperately trying to make eye contact but he wouldn�t look anywhere near me. I knew I screwed up bad!
�Look, I�m sorry that you can�t have kids, but what you did was really wrong. You know you hurt me so bad! I can�t forgive you... at least not yet! You know all because of you I cried myself to sleep every night, I couldn�t eat anything... I know this may sound weird since she�s SEVEN years younger than me, but I LOVE her, I can�t imagine my life without her. I will NEVER forgive you for making my life a living HELL for the past two weeks!� He yelled and ran back to his car. I stood still, then my legs didn�t support me anymore, so I fell, crying hysterically because I knew I had ruined my best friend�s and my DAUGHTER�s life... None the less, I also ruined mine and Nick�s friendship. When the hell did I become a cold hearted asshole?
*Lalig�s P.O.V.*
I�m nervous, they�re taking the bandage thingy from my eyes.
�Ouch!�
I was hurt Nick wasn�t here. In fact, I haven�t heard from him since the last time I yelled at him. I didn�t care that much though, since I literally told him I didn�t want to see him. Anyways, I was more hurt, because dad wasn�t here. Everybody was here, except dad and Nick; the two men that I loved the most.
�I�m sorry Lalig, I didn�t mean to hurt you.� Alex said.
�It�s ok,� I whispered.
�Ok, all done! You just have to open your... Wait, oops, AJ turn off the light.� Kevin said.
�Ok, now open your eyes.� Howie said.
�No... I... I can�t do that!� I stuttered, �I, I changed.... I changed my... my mind, I don�t want to see anymore!�
�Lalig, don�t be ridiculous! You wanted to see from the day you found out you couldn�t see.� Mom said.
�No! You can�t make me do something I don�t want!� I yelled.
�Lalig, look, I know it�s kinda scary to do something new, but you�ll get used...� Sarah was telling me softly, but I interrupted her.
�Sar, this isn�t something new to me, I HAVE seen light before! But I, I can�t see without BRIAN here with me, it�s already hard enough that stupid NICK is not here. They both told me that they�d be here for me, but they both freakin� lied to me!� I yelled.
�Lalig, Brian has a reason to not be here, he...� Kristin started to say, but I finished it for her,
"...had to go to a hospital for his fundraiser, but he knew we were going to take the bandage off of my eyes so I can see, and if he really cared about me as much as he said he did, he would�ve been here just like all of you!�
*Nick�s P.O.V.*
Brian�s not there with her? I can�t believe it! Where is he anyway? I haven�t seen him since the last time I yelled at him.
I want to be there with Lalig. I want to be the first face she sees. But I know that�s not going to happen.
I kinda feel bad for yelling at him, but he did hurt me. I can hear Lalig yelling about Brian not being there with her and... Wait, did she say why I�M not there? I really, really want to be there for her, but I�m afraid.
�Just go there Nick!�
�Wha...? Brian, get the fuck out of my room, don�t you understand the sentence �I don�t want to see you ever again?!!?!�
�Nick, stop talking nonsense and just go to her, she needs you...�
�How come you�re not there? And why do you care if she need me? You didn�t ca...�
�Nick, I KNOW you want to be there, so just go, she�ll be happy if you went there.� He said, frustrated.
�She�ll be happier if you went there Brian. How could you do this to her? You promised her you�ll be there for her.�
�Believe me, if I go now, she�s gonna regret wanting me there after I tell... Anyway, you promised to be there for her too!�
I couldn�t believe it. �If I remember correctly, it was YOU who didn�t want me near Lalig!� I yelled.
�Nick! I know what I did and I know what I did was wrong, that�s why I�m trying to make things better. Now, if you don�t go there, I�m gonna drag your ass, got that?"
*Lalig�s P.O.V.*
�Lalig, you been waiting for this for almost three months! Don�t...�
�...Back out now.�
My body tensed up when I heard a voice cut Kevin�s; I opened my eyes wide out of habit. But... I suddenly closed them back; it was BRIGHT!
�SHIT! What the hell are you doing here Nick? Get out!�
�No, he�s not leaving Lalig.�
"Dad? What are you doing here? I thought you had to go...�
�You�re more important to me honey. I love you.�
�I love you too daddy. But please, get Nick out of here... Please, I... I, I can�t do this while his here. I don�t want wanna see him. It�s gonna hurt more!�
I heard movement, then I heard the door shut. I sighed, relieved. I opened my eyes, slowly... Only to find dad kneeling in front of me. Tears of happiness started to swell up in my eyes and before I knew it, I was hugging dad tightly.
�Daddy, I can see again! I can see!�
�Yes angel, you can see.�
I sobbed on his shoulder for about a minute, then I started looking around the room. That was when I realized everybody had left the room... Not just Nick. I looked from the dresser to the bed, then turned from the night stand to the door. My heart�s speed went 100 miles per hour. The most beautiful man yet the one who broke my heart was sitting on the floor looking straight at me. We locked our eyes, and I broke down once again. I couldn�t take it, he was there, and I could SEE him! It hurt so much. He started approaching me, but I got out of the chair and started walking backwards.
�Nick, why are you here? Please, don�t make this harder on me, didn't you have enough fun hurting me? Please leave me alone!� I whispered.
�I�m here to say goodbye Lalig. I�m never gonna bother you again!� He said, looking straight in my eyes. My heart shuttered all over again. I somehow, hoped he would beg for forgiveness.
�WHAT?!?!� Dad yelled.
Nick leaned and kissed me on the lips; I started crying harder.
�Goodbye Lalig.� He whispered, then he turned to Dad and said, �That�s what you wanted and now you got it, happy?� Then he turned and left the room...
