Testimony of Bro. Lal D Peter

 

Here I would like to share my testimony with you. I believe that it will be blessings and revival in your spiritual life. I belong to a south Indian state named Kerala. I am very happy and thankful to God to say that I am a Christian. Because my parents are still Hindus. My father was a catholic, but later he became a Hindu and married my mother. But God saved me among from those idol worshipers.

 

After my school days I fell down to rock music bands with Jazz drums and vocals. Suddenly I got many live shows and fame. Through listening and playing evil band’s songs, my life turned to a new style as a satanic believer. While I was walking, laying, reading, playing and even eating time also I was praying to Satan. I was fully involved with tobacco, hot drinks and drugs. Now I can't remember and think what I done in that time. Many months my life was with skulls and witchcraft and became like mad and tried to commit suicide many times. While I was meditating I used to put the lamp black which I used to make inside of the skulls. That time I could control many evil spirits in my table and used to talk with them. If I start to write it will be a long horrible story. Later in my mind a good thought rose up and now I understood who done that. I started to search God, who and where he is?

 

Almost all people in India thinking God is there in the ashrams (monasteries), same thing happened to me. I marched to ashrams and started to learn Hindu epics and Vedas from ascetics and hermits. Few months later I became servant of a lady god (Mata amritanandhamayi) who living in my home town.  She is very famous in the world. She was teaching to us that to worship her. Most of her disciples are from western countries. I don’t know why they are all coming to this evil god. I believing that in this world there is a severe spiritual poverty is going on. People are running behind false gods. Gradually I decide to submit my life to that lady God and I started to prepare my life for that. Then the Lord's Day came to my life dramatically I met a pastor and worship leader named Cyril Noronha and he shared Gospel of Jesus Christ to me. But I was not ready to accept it and started to argue with him with the knowledge I learned from the world and man. But when he shared about the eternal life I understood that something is there with his words, tears and his personal life with Jesus Christ. I understood the truth from that pastor. More over God opened my heart, mind and eyes. Yes the God, who made the heavens and earth, the God of love, mercy, promises, and origin of truth saved me. I received Jesus as my Lord and savior, “Amen! Praise God, Hallelujah”. I have got a new life, the eternal life. I understood what is peace. I knew what is joy. He filled me with His love and Spirit. God gave me grace to suffer everything and to love every one. Yes my beloved, He told me, “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool”. My sins were also washed by the blood of Jesus, Hallelujah.

 

My parents heard that I became a Christian and they listened my prayers. Then they underlined that our son is a good mad. After few days of my salvation I became homeless, slept in roadsides with prayer and tract distribution due to became a Christian. But this time my God used to send me in many places in India and testified Jesus Christ is the only one way to salvation.
