Ola, I'm from Portugal but half my family come from Angola in South West Africa, sometimes my friends call me Aj. I'm a second year student doing Biomedical Science. Last year there was no Latin Society (but there was one 2 years ago) and when I found out that this year would be the same it just got me started! There was no way that I was going to let this university go without a Latin Society as there was many international societies last year but nothing for Hispanics, Latin Americans and Mediterraneans so I made sure there is one this year and the next!
Vice-President - Mark Calzaverini
Hi! I am English/Italian/Spanish so I don't know how but in some ways I must be latin. I co-founded (with Danny Colomer) and chaired this society two years ago, and I am now on board for this year's project. I am a final year Computing & I.T. student and enjoy all the good things in life. I like travelling, partying, learning new stuff, sport, good food and good girls. The greatest thing about this society is its spirit with which it was founded: It is open to absolutely anyone. So don't be shy and come to one of our events, we have the best parties on campus!

Hi, my name is Sharon and I'm a first year student studying Business Management at the University of Surrey. I was born in Sri Lanka and have lived all my life in Hong Kong. Despite not being at all Latin, I joined this society because it really appealed to me, as I have always been interested in the Latin way of life as well as the Latin culture.
