| The Wedding Prob.... 6 Milardo just calmly watched television, as he debated over asking me to join him, or letting me take my anger out on something else, besides him. I later decided that I was tired, and I wanted to watch television. I failed trying to kick in the icebox, which really pissed me off. If I knew they were going to leave I would have talked them into letting me go with them, he told me. I just grumbled under my breath, trying to resist the urge to touch his hair. Love sucks, especially if you dont get to choose when to love, and when to not. He flipped it to a channel, where a love story was previewed on hbo. We sat there for three hours, until the sun went down watching that movie. It was a interesting movie. A lot went on in that three hours. We both got some popcorn, and stared at the tv, as the servant told the prince that she could never be his. She was a servant and that was her place. War was started as they soon found out that the servant was not a servant, but an enemy. She fell inlove with the prince, and would not tell what she found on the her prince to her father, so he could have the upper hand on the war. She then was beaten until she bled. In the end they got to be with each other, but not like what you would wish. She died, and he did to. Milardo raised one of his eyebrows, as he watched the girl be beaten over and over again. I looked intently at the father who stood over there yelling give me the information. What an idiot. Somebody needs to beat him, and see what he would feel like. Now in the events, I did not know that my body had control of its ownself. My body moved closer to Milardo, until my head laid on his chest, and I sat on his lap. Now I know what you are saying. You have no excuse. You should not be stealing your sisters boyfriend on the day before the wedding. Well I truly agree, but nomatter what I told my body it would not obey me. I soon was snuggled in his arms, with my head against his hard chest, hearing his heart beat faintly. I felt sick. I was betraying my sister. I was betraying my...my pride. I was betraying the good in a woman. I was being weak. I can not be weak. But then Milardo decided to put his lips on the top of my head. Fine I can be weak. I looked into his eyes, as his lips slowly pressed against mine, and I felt his hands touch my back. The lights flipped on in the entrance of the house, as I heard laughter and giggling, and a pouting Catherine. I know what you guys are up to? She yelled as she stomped in the dining room. As always she didnt notice me sitting on Milardos lap, so she just scooted me off, and took my place. I found it hard to believe that she could do that, but she did. Milardo felt terribly uncomfortable, as he excused himself from the living room, and walked out into the night air. Be a man, Oldman yelled in the living room. Okay, Ill be a man. My father raised his sleeve, and they both started to arm wrestle. God, men can be such idiots, I heard SM mumble to Noin, and my sister agree with a nod. Heero walked over to SM. And SM corrected herself. Some men. And Heero then nodded agreeingly. I just ignored my families entrance, and walked up to my room to get some needed sleep. The day of the wedding, now that was something. Something I must talk about. Now let me stop laughing. Wait a minute. Okay the day was warm, and sunny. Nothing could ruin the wedding. Ha, ha, ha. Now thats funny. Dont make me laugh so hard. Okay. Everything, was perfect. Hilde only tripped three times, while walking outside in her high heels. WuiFei even though he didnt want to be the best man was. I really wanted to be the best man. SM kept fighting with me, that a woman could not be the best man. I didnt see what the big deal was, all she had to do was put me as the best man, and change the name to best woman. I was one of the ladies maid. I forgot what they called them, brides maids, yes thats it. I wonder what they call the grooms. Grooms maids. Now thats a name. Grooms maid. They could call them the Brooms maids, but that wouldnt be right. Anyway isnt maid, a term for women? Anyway SM didnt have to do a thing. All she did was sit at the front of the row, and try not to fall asleep. I shook my head, believing she was truly lucky. Oh well. Relena and Noin were the other brides maids. They stood next to me, as I shook with misery. I saw the people that were entering. Everyone must of been invited, no left outs. It was like the super bowl. Oh my gosh! I yelled to myself, as I watched Dou make people pay at the entrance. I was tempted to go over to Dou, and tell him not to make the people pay at the entrance, but I stood still. I was getting more tempted, seeing how much Dou was making. Lucretzia, go tell that idiot to stop what hes doing. She laughed, and headed over to Dou. Dou listened to his older sister, knowing that he would loose the fight if he tried to fight her. Dou gathered up his money, and went to his place, as one of the men that stood on the side of the groom. God, what are they called? Dou, Heero, and Trowa were forced to be the men on the side of Milardo. Milardo yarned three times, and so did Catherine. Catherine looked happy, but bored. I felt her pain. Ive never been so bored in my life. What do you mean there is no priest? Quatre asked down to laughter. He tried to look serious, but it was really failing him. The priest is sick. We need someone to be the priest, Sally responded calmly. Oldman stood, up, and walked up to where the priest stood. Oh no. No he is not. Sally screamed loudly. Quatre nodded, in agreement. Treize you are not going to let that man be the priest? My father didnt have an answer for him. Dont be foolish, look at him. I dont think he knows who the heck god is. Hell he probably doesnt even know what a church looks like. The only time hes probably been in a church, was when he needed to go to the bathroom, and the church was the only closest place, Quatre told my father in disbelief. I was impressed. Ive never heard Quatre insult anyone before. Look, Ive got places to go, people to see, and things I have to do. We either use- Okay, GrandM said, moving in to push the oldman out of her way. This calls for a person who is spiritual, and even prays once in a while. She pushed the man away from the brown podium without much force. People take your seats. I am going to start my speech. Take your seats, take your seats. Yeah you in the back. Sit your black butt down, She yelled pointing to the black man walking around in circles. He quickly sat down. He looked like one of those army men, my dad use to be associated with. When everyone was settled, the wedding began. I watched as Hilde started down the isle, throwing dead flowers on the floor, saying, Im sorry, but I had to do it, to the flowers, each time, she grabbed some rose petals out of her brown weaved basket. Next thing I know I hear Noin, and Relena singing the dreaded wedding song. Here comes the bride all fat and wide, here comes the groom, skinny as a broom. Here comes the preachers wicked old teacher. I almost felt like singing along with her. When Catherine finally hit the end of the isle, I was so happy. It was a long walk, Ill tell you that. Finally it came to my GrandMs speech. God, help us. Okay, we bring these young couple together here today in holy something. Blah, blah, blah. Catherine, do you take this man, to be your awful wedded husband. You will stick with him through sickness, and pain, hard times, as in other words, you will stick with him through the heat? Catherine tried to hold back her laughter, as she nodded. Milardo started to laugh, but he still kept that serious mask on. It looked really scary how he kept his face straight, but laughed. He nodded . Soon we came to the part where she asked if there was anyone who wished to stop this joining of lovers speak now, or you can hold your peace. I was tempted to yell, but someone did it for me. We turned our heads to look at the young fellow, who screamed stop. Oh my gosh. Drool, drool. This guy was hot. He had brown hair that stopped just a little above his chin, green eyes, and a smile, that could stop five thousand girls in their footsteps. He was also well stocked, with muscles, and all. Gorgeous was not the word for him. We looked at Catherine, and then our eyes went back to the guy. Catherine shook her head, saying she didnt know this guy. I dont know him. |
