There is so much pleasure and fulfillment from growing and maintaing healthy house plants. Often we run into some problems. Below are some signs of ill health . |

Brown or yellow leaf spots..Fungi which usually advances when water is allowed to remain on leaves.Cold water can also cause this spotting, always use water at room temperature and avoid wetting leaves in the evening. |

Browning of leaf tips...Lack of humidity, poor water quality, incorrect fertilizer, Fertilizer burn. |

Leaching-(cleansing the soil of chemicals) make sure the pot has good drainage run fresh water for several minutes through the pot to wash all unneeded fertilizer out .I recommend leaching all new house plants when you bring them home after you purchase them. |
