OLD BOWLING PIN ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS |
Q: Old Bowling Pin, how did "lakewater" start? |
A: My son, "lakewater" started as an outlet for it's producer Bob's video projects, such as music videos and short documentaries. Bob wanted to produce content for the show at his own pace, without having to worry about a monthly or weekly production deadline. |
Q. Now the show has music videos. And lots of 'em. |
A: That's not a question, but let's address the issue. Music videos have been a part of lakewater since Eddie Spaghetti of The Supersuckers sent us a copy of "Rock and Roll Records" back in '03. Since then, we've hooked up with a number of independent artists and small labels to help them promote their music. Basically we don't want anything too commercial. We always say the show is for "under the radar" bands, which is a pretty good description. We'd like to see even more videos from even weirder artists. That would make Old Bowling Pin happy! |

Q. A music video show seems old school. |
A: Again with the question/comment confusion. A music video show may seem old school, but the whole show wouldn't be possible without the internet, email, and digital editing technology. lakewater will eventually be available online, just give us time. |

Q. What's with the name, "Lakewater"? |
A: We needed a "local" name. What is more local than Lake Erie? Almost everyone from Erie has been in the "lake water" at one time or another. And the lake water collects everything we produce, good and bad. When the show started it was meant to be a collection of short video's, both good and bad, just like the actual lake. Yup. |

Q. Is it Lakewater, lakewater, or Lake Water? |
A: lakewater. |
Thank you, OBP |
