| We discussed the plans for the 2003/2004 school year. It was decided to have a field trip each month through out the school year. Service projects will be planned for everyother month, and family fun activities will be planned the months that there is no service project. This will make sure that there are no more than two scheduled activities each month. Each family is encouraged to signup to plan at least one of these activities. Three lists were sent around the room to collect a list of ideas for each of the the three activities. There will be a Lakeview Homeschool Support Group Retreat planned again for the spring. The Monday meetings topics for the 2003/2004 school year will be the same type as last year. Various subjects and a few speakers. Becky has agreed to speak on children's learning styles at one of the meetings. Kathy will start a Yahoo e-mail group for communicating better with eachother, and will continue to update the web page. |
