ANTOINE DISHNOW, deceased, was a native of Canada, and was born in 1839. He grew up there and in New York State. In the fall of 1867, he married Miss Sarah LaMore, a native of New York. They came to Marquette County in 1872, and he engaged in wood business and contracting; he was one of the first men to locate here, and to go in business; he held the office of Highway Commissioner; his death occurred February 6, 1881, leaving four children- Emma J., Antoine, Eddie and Moses A. |
