her husband works on.
Father: Fallander: Age 52 crewman on the Greenwager fishing boat.

Brother: Gallander: Age 23 hates water and is a messenger between holds.

Description: Salrinda is about 5' 5" and has brown hair with a lot of
reddish highlights. Eyes of green with a sprinkle of freckles on her skin.
There is a long scar on the left forearm from an attempt to follow
her mother in gutting fish.

Personality: It can be deceptive that she appears quiet. Generally observes
the actions of others and takes up for the underdog when needed. She is a
person that will be loyal to a fault to her friends, once the friendship is made,
but will drop a person from her life if given sufficient reason. Slow to come
to temper taking a great deal from a person, but long in the burning of that
temper once sparked. Is comfortable on and in the water.

History: Raised in Riverbend Hold and was accident prone. At age 8 she sliced
her arm badly while imitating her mother in gutting fish. Her mother never
trusted her with a knife again. Her father would have trained her to crew with
him but at age 9 she unfurled a sail and knocked his captain over board causing
a broken arm and leg. At age 10 she accidentally set the kitchens on fire and was barred from cooking. At age 11 in a desperate measure to find a place in the Hold Salrinda took up doing the laundry and except for a couple of tunics needing rewashed this seems to be a safe place for her.

At 12 Salrinda fell in love for the first time with a dark haired sailor.
When 13 she worked up the nerve to kiss him goodbye as his fishing vessel went
out early in the morning. It was the last kiss the sailor had in his young life.
A storm blew him overboard and Salrinda never kissed another.

On 14.03 of her second turn at the Weyr Salrinda graduated to a full rider. She began to fall in love again with B'at, and was left waiting as the man of her interest bedded another during a dual gold mating flight.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses: Although she is able to do many things and
do them well she is stricken when in the sight of others with the fear of failing.
She can weave a fishtrap, repair a net but her nimble fingers will fail when someone is watching her. The only time she seems to bloom is when she is working with a frighten animal. Unfortunately this ability was never discovered at Riverbend Hold.
