Wing second to a small brown/ special rescue wing/ Fort Weyr � all the dragons of this wing are extremely agile and all are to the smaller side. There are no bronzes and only one Brown � he being small for his size and more agile than most. They do arial rescues and sometimes called out in times of crisis � aka Quake � weather caused devastation, etc.

Siblings/Children/Rank/Age/Location:

Too many siblings to list, all are riders, and most are at Fort. None are all that close from raising by different foster mothers. Those not at Fort are beholden to other Northern weyrs. P�at is the first to brave going off to the south.

Son � 12 turns � P�tal - Weyrling at Fort, Rider to Bronze Talloth � Proud of his father and his status in the special rescue wing. Though not close they are still likely to visit. Holds no offense that his mother � Tallara � A wing rider looking to a Green named Seenath at Fort and his father never became weyrmates. P�tal came from a flight.

P�at is very proud of his son impressing a bronze. He and the boy, in his opinion and the boy�s, have a good friendship.

Description:

Hair color � Black/longer, shoulder length tied back with a leather tie

Eyes - Blue-gray � almost smoky looking

P�at has a nice build, likes to work out and keep himself in shape. He�s quick to smile, but when something needs to be done and he is in charge, he will brook no nonsense. He made an excellent wing second in the rescue wing and he and Tyluth know some pretty cool maneuvers.

Personality:

P�at has a thing about staying in shape. He works out everyday, for a certain amount of time and is adamant about doing so. It can almost be classified as a obsessive thing.

He made an excellent wing second in the special flight wing at Fort. When things needed to be done, he made sure he helped his wingleader make sure they were done. On the other hand, if the emergency cut into the time he usually takes to work out and take care of himself; he�s known to get catty and a little short tempered.

He�s quick to smile and laugh, but lately has felt very lonesome. Fort and it�s riders just weren�t appealing in the least anymore, and he decided to take the big step so to speak.

History:

March 10th 1971 - Peterian was born. P�nel was pleased at having his first son. He absconded with the child, much to Rhiatta�s disapproval to show him off around the weyr until his son finally screamed in hunger loud enough that he reluctantly took him back.

May 17th 1971 � Peterian is given over to Rhina at her insistence to raise as her foster child. Rhiatta�s rider duties were suffering for her insistence at keeping the child with her.

Peterian seems to have had a generally normal life. The typical weyr brat, he�s snuck looks at eggs and stood on the grounds for hatching since he turned 13 turns old. Never was he picked by those precious dragonettes until�

January 8th, 1987 � He was watching longingly as the other dragonettes picked their lifemates. He was pushed slightly from behind and turned to see a small blue that had fallen against him. Immediately, he turned and reached down to set the little one right. It wasn�t even moments before those whirling eyes captured his own and held him entranced. P�at had tears running down his face at his joy. Tyluth, dubbed TY, only told him not to worry, he had found him at last, and btw� he was starving�

August 24th, 1987 - P�at�s easy way and leadership qualities come to the attention of the weyrlingmaster and assistants. This is at the same time that they realize Ty�s flight capabilities and P�at is asked if he would be interested in the special wing. It would mean less free time and more classes on leadership and flight maneuver�s. P�at accepts, and is beyond flattered at them even being considered.

February 29th, 1988 � pat graduates to full rider status, but is returned to specialized classes that only the special wing � the Hawks � go through.

March 30th, 1988 - P�at is surprised when Ty goes up after a lovely green dragon named Seenath. Ty catches the dragon and P�at and Tallara, Seenath�s lovely rider, beget Petallon. He does help the green rider through the pregnancy as much as possible. The two are friends, but that is all that is there feelings wise.

December 29th, 1988 � P�at gets out of training to be with Tallara when their son is born. Happy over his son, he takes after his father and takes off with him to show him off. Mostly to the Hawks of course. :P

March 1st, 1989 - P�at and Ty graduate their class and are now literally full riders assigned to the Hawk wing.

April 10th, 1990 - P�at is assigned as a wing second in the Hawk wing. During an emergency, the wingsecond is lost unexpectedly and P�at immediately takes over helping the wingleader keep things on track. It is upon their return to the weyr, during a welcome home feast at the weyr that the Weyrleader as well as the Wingleader of the Hawks surprise him with a new rank cord and the position.

P�at still has never gotten close to any of the wing, although he knows them very well. He knows the chances when flying in this wing.

April 1st, 1991 � A call is heard from the South and the Hawk wing is dispatched to the are around Lakeside Weyr and to the Weyr itself. The area has been torn apart by a Hurricane and it is up to the Hawk wing along with others to help put everything to rights. This is the first time that P�at comes south and sees Lakeside Weyr and the beautiful area around it. This is P�at�s first emergency as Wingsecond all the way through and although nervous of the fact, does well.

April 10th, 2001 - After so many years with Hawk Wing, P�at decides he is tired. He has never forgotten the beauty of Lakeside and it�s surrounding area. After much thought and many sleepless nights, P�at calls a meeting between himself, Hawkwings Wingleader and the Weyrleader. He steps down from his position as Wingsecond in the wing and suggests an able replacement they all agree on. He requests for a transfer to Lakeside for a 7 day from now. The Weyrleader and Wingleader both, attempt to talk him into only an extended vacation and R&R, even at LSW if he chooses, but he is adamant about needing the transfer and a bit more than just a �vacation�. The Weyrleader promises him he will do what he can.

April 13th, 2001 � P�at is proud as a gold hanging over her gold egg when not even standing on the grounds for impression because of age, the first bronze to break shell ignores the other candidates and harangues his son in the lowest stands into an impression. There are tears of joy for his son, remembering what that moment was like for him.

April 16, 2001 � The Weyrleader calls him into his office and finalizes his transfer, shaking P�at�s hand and telling him this is with much regret. P�at leaves for his new home under good circumstances and knowing he will always be welcome back home at Fort if he so chooses.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses:

Could be a strong leader, or even help the weyrleaders create their own specialty rescue wing with blues and greens and even small browns. He knows the maneuvers well and is definitely not any more fearful of doing them than his loving blue.

Weaknesses would probably most likely be the fact that he is fearless and often goes out of his way for the daredevil type thing. Not having a weyrmate or anyone looking directly to him, he is apt to pull some obnoxious feats in the air with Tyluth when needed and often when not. He�s had a few people holding their breath for fear of what would come of some of the things he�s done. He�s even turned his dragon gray a couple of times from fright. Not meaning to of course! :P

As of yet, P�at is tired from so many years in so intense a wing. The training NEVER stopped for them, and they were called on for every emergency everywhere. P�at is in need of a serious break and would not hesitate to make this clear to anyone. Also from being in the Hawks, P�at is extremely lonesome. He wouldn�t get too close to those in the wing, their life expectancy even lower than most due to the challenges for the job they did. He also never chose to have a weyrmate or let anyone else that close either, as he wouldn�t want them to fear for him, what he did the rest of the wing. He�s beyond ready to change that�

Pets: A rather large female canine named digger. For a good reason of course. She�s VERY sweet of course, and likes everyone; just don�t make a threatening move towards her pet, P�at.

Dragon name: Tyluth

Dragon color: Blue

Age: 14 turns

Wing: West Bank

Size: 30/90

Description: A medium blue throughout entire hide with small swirls of dark saphire coloring along neck, head and muzzle and along the tail.

Personality:

Likeable like his rider, he has a tendency to rumble with laughter too. He�s A LOT less apt to work out though� his preference is a VERY warm rock or patch of sand to lounge around on. He likes the arial maneuvers of the special wing, it allows him to show off, HIS favorite past time; but for the most part, is called Lazybones, affectionately by his rider, for good reason. Ty would rather get out of things whereas his rider is a get it done first kind of guy. Ty like his rider will do whatever is asked though, hehe within reason of course.

Strengths/Weaknesses:

He�s about a medium sized blue, but for the practice and training in the special wing, he can outmaneuver most. You could say he has more tricks under his wings. :P

His weakness is that laziness. LOL Once moving though, there�s no stopping him, especially when he deems it important.
