Description: eye color/shape: almond shaped brown eyes that fit her face nicely. hair color/style: black hair worn short, framing her face, height: 5�7, weight/build: Noiel is around 145 lbs, she�s build strong and sturdy and has decent figure even if she is slightly lacking curves, complexion: brownish skin, handedness: left, voice: mid alto, jewelry/weapons: No jewelry other then a ring on her right hand and a belt knife, clothing you wear: She favors earth tones and gem tones usually pants

Personality: Noiel is what bronzeriders of the Weyr frequently refer to as "a tough nut to crack." She is rather reserved and aloof in her daily interactions. She sees the Weyrleader as transient, but goldriders are forever ;). She is able to work with the Weyrleader, but she has never been especially friendly with any of the bronzeriders whose dragons have flown Kychonath. She had a few lovers - mostly brownriders and the occasional crafter - when she and Kychonath were junior, but has had none since becoming senior . . . none that anyone knows about, anyway. She tends to be straightforward about her true feelings in private, and more reticent in public. Occasionally she alienates the members of her wing because of her distance. However, the younger goldriders she has trained know her to be strict but fair. She is serious about the return of Thread, and the Queen's Wing drills frequently, and is subject to surprise inspections of their equipment. After a storm injured Kychonath and forced Noiel to step down as Weyrwoman her personality under took a few changes. She a little more open about her feelings but doesn't flaunt them.

History: Noiel was born at Hiyo Weaverhold, a community of weavers of all ranks. In addition to the weavers, there is a small farming community that supplies many of the hold's needs. She is the eldest of seven
siblings. Growing up, she didn't have much interest in making or dyeing cloth or clothing, but she was a deft needlewoman and produced fine decoration for many of the articles of clothing sold by the Hold, which, being near to Lakeside Hold, is patronized by the Hold's notables and other residents when something special is needed, as well as by many dragonriders. One such dragonrider, who had a poor sense of direction, was hovering at the entrance in confusion which Noiel approached him. Noiel asked if she could help the rider in any way, and the rider explained that s/he was there to pick up an article of clothing she had commissioned. Noiel led the rider to the shop and presented the rider with the item, which she had decorated. The rider was pleased with the work, and surprised when his/her dragon stated that Noiel should come to the Weyr. Noiel acquiesced, at the urgings of her parents and friends, and stood on the Sands for nearly two years until she impressed gold Kychonath. She made her way through weyrling training and worked her way to Weyrwoman of Lakeside weyr. Kychonath was then injured in a rescue attempt and forced Noiel to step down from her position leaving Tessa in charge. She has a son bore to her by Bronzerider K'lar. After a long illness that affected Tessa she was forced to step down. Kychonath, now healed, and Noiel took the position again.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses: Noiel is a good swimmer and seamstress, and middling as a domestic manager. She relies heavily on the Headwoman to arrange fosterings for the children of the Weyr; she is not very comfortable with children and doesn't pretend to know which parents' and children's personalities are compatible. She prefers to select personnel who she knows are competent and will not run to her with small problems they should be able to solve themselves, and leave the areas under her purview - the infirmary, kitchens, stores, and whatnot - to be run by the personnel she selects.

Description: A deep dark golden shade, almost bronze until the sun hits her hide.

Personality: clever; constantly watches Noiel's interactions and activities through her rider's mind. Conscious of her dignity, especially when she became senior in Lakeside, even after stepping down her dignity stuck around. Likes to taunt and tease the bronzes of the Weyr.

Strengths/Weaknesses: She�s very smart and proud/teases to much
