Description:

Almond shaped gray eyes, mousey-brown hair cut to her shoulders. 5'3", 110lbs, a light complexion. Slight build, left handed, high alto range.

Personality:

Shy, gentle, friendly and open with those that she knows.

History:

A complete "daddy's Girl". The youngest girl and not fostered, her brothers adored her and always took her with them when going on tehir common forays inot the forrests surrounding their cothold. A total tom-boy, Josie carried a dagger her father had purchased for her at a Gather. The dagger came in handy when she got trapped out for one week in a particularly bad snow storm. she lost 2 toes from frost-bite in that storm.
Everytime Dragons were on Search, her father would take her and ber brothers 'camping' in the hills above their cothold. This kept any of his children from being Searched. Her father liked dragonriders, he really did. Respected them as anyone ought, but he didn't want to risk his children, espically his only daughter, to the Weyr and that sort of life. She was a good girl and would stay as such.
Josie was apprinticed at the Glasssmiths hall when she was Searched for
Lakeside. A rider from Lakeside was visiting a friend near the Hall when Josie was Searched. To her fathers intense despair, Josie was taken to be a candidate on the Sands at Lakeside.

Glass-blowing, weaving, brewing, and very quick wit/physical strenth.
