Detailed Description:

Physical- Cala is a thin bony boy. He is of moderate height, standing 5' 7". It is hard to tell what he will mature to become as a man. Cala has sandy colored brown hair. His eyes are a dark shade of blue. Mostly Cala is unremarkable in appearance. He is clearly his mother's child, leave everyone who sees him to wonder who his father might be. Only the light freckling over his skin distinquish him from his from his mother.
Cala's clothing is a mish-mash of left overs from previous crafters, usually too large or too small for his frame. Because he is slender, when he finds clothing that is long enough for his frame they are too big around. Thus he looks like a perpetual child needing to grow into his clothing.

Emotional- A shy boy, with a sharp, quick mind, Cala has trouble talking to people. He has an intelligence that makes it hard to take bullies and bullies do seem to find him an easy target.
Sensitive to others who are in need of friendship, Cala is hampered by his shyness and will often just hang around a person who is in need. His own eptitute with being able to express himself often leaves him frustrated. So it is he holds entire conversations with himself in his mind.

Brief History:
Born out of wedlock to his drudge mother, who either didn't know who the boy's father was or didn't wish the rest of the Craft Hall to know, Cala has not had an easy life. He was left to his own most of his young life. Only the manditory harper lessons brought any structure to his life. Thus he enjoyed learning, everything. Often he would steal down into the dark record rooms to work his way through the musty hide scrolls. As time passed Cala found he had no proper place in the workings of the Craft Hall. Then his interest in the historical scrolls of the Craft Hall was discovered and the tedious task of copying the older scrolls was given to the scrawny boy. This task left him alone for long hours. And that was perferable to being the butt-end of the Craft Halls bullies jokes. The husky SeaCraft Apprentice found Cala to be easy prey. The other boy's
constant teasing made Cala shy around others. To show his sharp wit or display knowledge others didn't know would only bring him a beating from the other boys. So Cala hid in his silence.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses: Quick of wit and able to see the whole of a problem easily. Shy to the point of not expressing himself.
