WHAT IS MUSIC THERAPY?
Music Therapy is a well-established allied health profession similar to occupational therapy and physical therapy.
Credentialed, Board Certified Music Therapists (MT-BC), use music as a medium to address physical, psychological, cognitive and/or social deficits.
Ultimately, Music Therapy is the prescribed use of music activities to accomplish non-musical goals (i.e., social skills, academics, motor coordination, communication skills, etc.).
Because music is non-threatening and success oriented, clients may experience unique therapeutic outcomes significantly different from those experienced in traditional educational or therapeutic settings.
Lakeshore Music Therapy Services owner Dawn M.E. Artwick MT-BC, obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts, Music Therapy degree from Michigan State University after completing a 9-month Music Therapy Internship with Detroit Public Schools.

Individual Client:
30 minute session�$25
45 minute session�$38
60 minute session�$50
Small Groups: (3-7 clients)
30 minute session�$8/client
45 minute session�$12/client
60 minute session�$15/client
All sessions will occur in the client's home or school unless other arrangements can be made. Payment must be made in advance of each scheduled session.
Ask about HOURLY CONTRACT RATES so I can serve the students within your pre-existing school, day care, early childhood programs, etc.
