It is located in Muskegon, MI and all the events are also here.
~ Can you register mutts?
Yes, you can register mutts and purebred dogs. Mutts can't be in Conformation, unless your created breed has been accepted.
~ Do mutts have to be spayed or neutered?
No, but dogs in season cannot attend events.
~ Can you show a fixed dog?
Yes, dogs can be fixed if you want to show them.
~ Do I have to register myself and the dog?
Yes, you can find the registration forms on this website.
~ Do I have to have a dog to join?
No, but you can use someone else's dog. If it isn't registered they can register it or you can register it under your name.
~ How do I become an important member of the club or judge?
First you have to register and be a member for at least one month. Then you have to come to one of the meetings and fill out a paper saying what you want to be and why you should get to be it. The other important members will vote you in or out. To be a judge you have to show dogs at an LKC show at least 5 times with at least two different dogs. You have to win first at least 1 of the 5 times. Then you can fill out a judge form and if we want you to be a judge, then we'll call you to come judge shows.
