March 30th..... Essex County ATV Time Ride
Well we finally got a few of the ATV Time guys from Essex County to get together and go for a ride. There was myself, my friend Chris (Q2XLrubi), Mike (Galoot) and Pat (pat7370). It was a bit cold in the morning and there was ice over alot of the water holes. As the day went on things warmed up nicley and we had a real good ride. Chris and my self started off at his house on County Road 46 and rode to Mike's friends that was on County rd 19 just south of Hwy #3. Pat met us there and then we rode the trail along side of #3 to almost as far as the Colisantis' turn off in Ruthven. There was lots of mud and water and some steep ditch crossings that were pretty slippery and wet. Mike has done a few mods to his Grizzly and it ran prefect even with the tons of cold water we ran through. Pat ran his Raptor through alot of stuff that I'd never have thought a sport machine would go through. By the end of the day he was pretty much covered in mud from head to toe. I dove into a couple of spots that Chris and Mike where deceideing if they should or shouldn't try to cross. The answer was shouldn't!!!. I ended up haveing to be winched out by Mike a couple of times. After we dropped Pat and Mike off, Chris and myself hit a couple of water holes in a bush across from his house. All in all it was a great ride and I think every one had a good time. I think we'll all have to get together again soon and do another one.
