Snow Run 2003 / Feb 02
This past weekend we had our anual (weather permiting) Snow Run poker run. As some of you may or may not be aware of in our neck of the woods there isn't a hole lot in the way of trails that alot of people know about, so most of that riding is left to those of use that know where to go. Because of that the turn out at this years event was a sell out. I don't have the offcial numbers but before take off time we counted somewhere in the area of 340 ATV's and sleds. While the riding part of the event wasn't all that exciting, it was pretty much 90 kms of running down the frozen lake, everyone I talked to had a good time ust meeting up with everyone and seeing all the different machines in action and getting out for a ride on a perfect day. It was 35-40 F and not a breath of wind. I don't have alot of pictures but the few I have will maybe get some extra riders out next year.
