| WHO ARE WE? Lake Region Community Theatre, Inc. is a non-profit theatrical organization made up OF the community FOR the community. Our goal is to educate participants and volunteers in the various aspects of performing and fine arts including theatre and its production. In 2000, the North Central Florida Chamber of Commerce sought to start a tradition in our area with a yearly Christmas production. Lake Region Community Theatre grew out of the group formed to fulfill their request. LRCT�s first production was in December of 2000 with the timeless Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol adapted by Charles Schario. Incorporation as a non-profit organization began in 2001 and 501� (3) certification was awarded the following year. LRCT strives to promote all forms of artistic pursuit in the Lake Region. The Lake Region includes Bradford County, Clay County, Union County, Putnam County and the surrounding areas. Supporting our theatre group is fun and easy, just treat yourself, your friends, and your family to a great show. It's that easy. You can also support the theatre by acting, directing, producing, working backstage, or just getting the word out about plays and performances. |
