The only time a Council Member will be replaced is if they die unexpectedly, or are near death in which the whole council will be replaced by a vote. Members can run again unless they have reached the elder stage.
SALARIES:
Hood Council Members are paid $5,000 every simweek. The Spokes Sim is paid $10,000 every simweek.
IMMIGRATION/EMIGRATION:
Immigration: We welcome one new household every 5 simdays. Please email us with any immigration requests. Name and number of family members. We will let you know when you can travel here.
Emigration: Any sim or sims can move out of the hood at anytime. The appropriate paperwork must be filled out before doing so.
TAXES:
Each household (homeowners only) must pay $2,000 property tax every 5th simday.
$500 property tax every simweek
$1,500 per student going to University. Paid to Education Rep.
$1,000 Immigration tax per household moving in/joining.
FEES:
$2500 to move houses
$1,000 to switch from Public to Private School
$1000 for burial at community lot. No charge for home burials.
$1500 for immunization from diseases
$2500 for emergency viral cure
FINES:
$1,000 if garden/yard is not maintained. Paid to Community Rep.
$100 - Knocking over a resident's garbage can. Paid to victim.
$100 - Stealing a resident's newspaper. Paid to victim.
$100 - Disturbing the peace, loud radio and police have to come to the house. Paid to cop who shows up.
ADMINISTRATIVE AWARDS:
A University student is awarded $15,000 for graduation, Magna Cum Laude.
$10,000 for graduation, no honors..
$5,000 additional money is granted if student stayed in the Hill House their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year (at 35 Peanut Street.)
WELFARE PROGRAM:
A household can apply for one-time support of:
$3,000 for special needs single parent with children and networth is less than $20000
$1,000 for paying bills and food
$1,000 for emergency healthcare networth less than 20000
CHARITABLE DONATIONS: Any household can decide to give money in charitable donations to any organization, business or family they choose, for whatever amount they choose, but they must do so without seeking favors from said organization, business or family.
CONTESTS: The Hood Administration reserves the right to organize contests and fundraisers within the community to raise money for it's endeavors.

LAWS OF INHERITANCE: Possessions are officially transferred from Possessor(s) to Heir(s) on the day the Possessor dies.
Chain of Inheritance:
1. Spouse: Required
2. Children: All children of the deceased. Includes adopted children and any children born outside of the marriage.
3. Siblings: If there is no spouse, and there is no children, sibling will inherit.
4. Friends: If there are no siblings, children or spouse, the deceased friend will inherit their possesions..
5. Administration: If no one stands to inherit the hood council will retain possesion of the items until they are sold or used.
If there is a will that was made in advance then the will will override normal chain of custody.
