| Lower Forty Bjorn Gelding Birth Date: June 12, 1995 Registration Number: C 1329 |
We were first introduced to the Norwegian Fjord breed of horse when visiting the home of D. & E. Wanner of Estevan, Saskatchewan. A neighboring farm had several of these horses and once we saw these lovely animals, our interest was peaked. Little did we know, when we first saw these Fjords, that one day, we would be lucky enough to own several of these fine animals. |

| Bjorn is the oldest male in our little herd and his primary role is protector of the herd. He is an excellent protector- ever on the look out for threats to the younger animals. Usually, Bjorn follows the others as they wander about the pastures. However, when the herd perceives what they believe to be a threat to them, Bjorn quickly becomes the leader. When the mares become frightened, they stand behind their protector Bjorn. We know that should the situation ever arise, he would do everything in his power to protect his herd. He would be a formidable foe. |

| Bjorn drives single and double. We also use him when training our 3 year olds to drive. He is invaluable to us both as a trainer and as a protector of the herd. He competed in driving events at our local Fair numerous times and usually comes away with first prize. We are very pleased with Bjorn, the first Fjord we aquired. |
