Squire - A knight’s attendant; an armor bearer. A page who has completed two years of intense training and acquired the appropriate number of achievement beads will be promoted into the ranks of the knighthood. The squire is then directly sponsored by one knight who becomes his mentor and whom he exclusively serves. Squires function as banner carriers and personal attendants to their sponsoring knight. They are granted the right to wear a sword and will be supplied with the crest of the household. They are also granted the right to wear a red leather belt to symbolize their new status. Spiritual Training will focus on Manhood and Integrity utilizing the 7 promises of a Promise Keeper and the Honorbound materials.



1. Be at least 16 years of age and/or 10th grade. (High School Sophomore)
2. Continued regular attendance to the bi-monthly meetings and attain the position of page as listed above.
3. Complete book on Christian Beliefs (Section 3: "Ten Key Words of Bible Doctrine") including appropriate scripture memorization.
4. Continued regular attendance of Wednesday services as well as Sunday school and Sunday Morning services.
5. Pay required monthly tribute to the household treasury. (suggested $2.00)
6. Acquire a red leather belt and a decorative weapon of choice. (ie. sword, dagger etc.) Weapons are optional and only to be worn with parental permission and not removed from belt or sheath at any time during meetings, courts, or tournaments accept as ordered by leadership. (NO BRANDISHING OF WEAPONRY!)
7. Know and identify the various ranks of Nobility and demonstrate proper court etiquette when addressing these ranks.
8. Memorize and recite the Squires scripture (2 Timothy 2:15 & 16)
9. Demonstrate knowledge of chosen culture by acquiring or crafting a culture specific artifact or garb and explaining its relevance.
10. Must have served as a page or a serf in at least 5 events. (ie. waterbearer, food server, camp forager etc.) and at least one of these must include some kind of food preparation.
11. Name all the parts of the suit of armor (proper names) as well as the different parts of the sword.
