Surprisingly, Rann is only a Jedi of 15 years old, though he seems to have a lot of wisdom that advance far beyond his years. Rann has dark hair and brown eyes. He wears a green cloak, pants and shirt with a tan tunic that hangs over the pants and shirt.
GM Note:
Rann I-Kanu grew up in the slums
of Nar Shadaa, so he naturally would have to be a bit more resourceful than
a normal child. Nar Shadaa is a bad place to live, as you probably know.
Then, on top of growing up for a time on Nar Shadaa, Rann witnessed his
parents' murders, and he blamed himself for their deaths. This, I figured,
would be enough to force him to grow up faster than most children.
Then, on top of all that, Rann's master, after the Council had
discovered his Force abilities a year later at the orphanage, took him under
her wing and taught him how to cope with his pain. She taught him Force
abilities that would focus his attention on helping others and understanding
and feeling their emotions, pain, etc. This helped Rann grow even more in
wisdom since he learned, at a very young age, to aid others both physically
and emotionally, and it helped him overcome his own pain.
Therefore, because he learned how to deal with his own pain and he was
able to help others both with the Force and through his past experience with
pain, Rann became far wiser than anyone his age. He is very reserved and
only speaks when he feels it is necessary. When he does talk, he usually
has something very wise and intelligent to say.
However, this wisdom does not represent his skill in battle or his
mastery of the Force. Although he's a good fighter and his skills in the
Force are pretty good, he is no master yet. In fact, he's got a long way to
go before that status could be achieved. Therefore, Rann may be wise and
seemingly in control, but he is, as of yet, still not experienced enough to
be a master.
