Whether we consider this speculation, or whether we consider this to be the actual meaning of the mistranlation of his name, it does not change the fact that this is a man made name, and is not His name at all. For a male god that is a miracle worker Yesous, or Yazeus (savior Zeus) this is still the man made name of a false greek god that was thouroughly accepted by the Roman religion, who were also guilty and still are of worshipping multiple gods.
Sometime before the 14th century, the Latin translation was used to translate the scriptures back into greek. When the greek scholars came to the Latin translation of his name, they adopted Iesous Christos into the greek manuascript because it did not violate any of the greek rules of vocabulary.
Now a piece of history that, it seems, few people know.
In the 4th century, a man named Constantine went warring against all the neighboring countries of Rome. He tried to force the people of all nations to convert to the Roman religion. Those who refused to convert died a grusome death. Those who didn't die, obviously converted.
He ordered everything Hebrew to be destroyed. He set out to kill the Hebrew people, the hebrew writings, and the hebrew belief system. First and second, and even third century hebrews who were born again were not religious. This is how the salvation message spread so quickly and became so popular.
All hebrew writings were destroyed, except one copy of Matthew. Several copies of the OT survived though.
An interesting note. In the original Hebrew book of Matthew, chapter 28 verse 19, there is only one word...go. In the KJV Bible Matt. 28:19 reads, go ye therefore into all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, the son, and the holy ghost. Alot was added from the original writings. Alot of religion made its way into the Bible. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying we cannot trust the bible, what I am saying is, we need to rightly divide the scriptures, because we need to shun any manmade doctrine that has been put there by religious translators.
The Roman Catholic Religion didn't even exist before the 14th century. Prior the the 14th century, it was simply known as the Roman Religion.
The Roman religion is the resurrected Babylonian religion. Preachers are looking for signs in these times of the beast that suffered a dealy blow, and then came back to life. This already happened. When the old Babylonian empire died, the religion died with it, but when the roman empire came into being, the old Babylonian religion was resurrected, and now is the Roman Catholic Church, alive and well, just like the bible says.

Now when we look up Joshua in the OT, we get the same Strong's reference number 3091. The english name Joshua is Yashua or Yahoshua, the very same name Jesus is derived from. If the OT name Yashua can be translated into english as Joshua, whay can't the NT name Yashua be translated int english Joshua?
You see dear reader, our saviors name is not Jesus...It is Joshua. This mistranslation has caused the whole world to be deceived into believing that Jesus Christ is the only name whereby we must be saved. It is a lie! Did you know that the letter "J" didnt even exist before the 14th century? Did you know that the letter "J" replaced the letters "I" and "Y" in every worldwide language after the 14th century where a conconant is needed instead of a vowel? The bible says in the last days, God will raise up a people, and He will be their God, and they will be His people. With no truth for 1600 years, there has been not one person saved, what deception!!!
Yashua (Joshua) came to deliver people out of the bondage of religion, and religious people crucified him. The Apostles carried on his teachings, and religious people killed them.
