The deeply forested brush hid them well, and when the light shone just right, Talia mavelled at how beautifully it reflected off of their wings and scales. Such exquisite creatures.... each with their own distinctive personality... and such intelligence! She had gotten them when they were young.... just eggs.... and watched them grow from hatchlings on to adults. And now, here they were... fluttering lazily around the forest, some calm and serene, others tormenting the other creatures in the area.
She chuckled as one of them approached, a wave female, Vilipse. With a small snort of disgust at her fellow Dragoni, she cuddled up next to Talia and shook her head.
"Silly creatures," she remarked, watching as a copper female, Tristae, and a feline female, Irsephone, batted at each other experimentally, snapping playfully at each other's forelegs. |
